The Students' Association of the University of Natural Resources of Applied Life Sciences Vienna (ÖH BOKU) cordially invites you to attend the annual Bokuball on January 22, 2010. Please join us for a delightful evening with friends, colleagues, students, alumni and BOKU faculty and staff at the Vienna Imperial Palace Hofburg. The Hofburg is one of Europe's most famous ballroom locations, and visting our ball will provide you with a lasting impression of the splendor of this Viennese building.

Each year, a region of Austria is chosen to be presented at the ball. This year, the province of Vorarlberg will be featured. We will be delighted to show you an interesting variety of regional specialites and attractions specific to this area. Our guests are invited to walk through and explore the various beautiful halls of the Hofburg where a wide variety of musical groups will be performing. Whether your taste is classical, orchestral, big band, pop, jazz, disco, or traditional folk music – we will offer great music to suit every taste!

Proceeds from the BOKU-Ball will be used to support several social projects for the students of our University as well as donating one Euro from every sold ticket to the "Sonnenblume" Association. Sonnenblume helps chronically ill children in Vorarlberg and supports their families to handle their difficult circumstances.
